Live cricket scores — refreshed as the innings shape changes

Where every match-up that has a ball being bowled tonight appears on one page. Wicket, over-completion, innings break — refreshed when the innings shape changes, never ball-by-ball commentary noise.

If a match is currently being played in the IPL window, it appears in this section. The list refreshes when an innings break hits, a wicket falls, or an over completes. We never update ball-by-ball here — for that, the official broadcaster app is the right tool.

How this live page works

The page aggregates official score feeds for each match in the IPL window. Updates fire when a wicket falls, an over completes, an innings break is signalled, or a chase reaches a notable milestone. We also publish a match-of-the-day sticky at the top to make it easier to find the one fixture you actually care about.

Refresh methodology: we do not crawl any data source faster than every two overs per innings. Anything finer than that is the job of the broadcaster app, which does ball-by-ball video with live Hawk-Eye. The desk does not run that, and does not pretend to.

The data sources we read from are the official league feed and the broadcaster’s published scorecards. We never read from betting sites or unofficial Telegram mirrors. If a number looks out of step with another site, the corrections page explains why and we update in the open.

What this page is not

This is not a ball-by-ball commentary service. It is not a streaming page. It is not a betting odds service or a fantasy scoring portal. We do not host any video, embed any audio, or insert any third-party scorecard widget. The page is a reading list about what is happening in the matches today.

Refresh discipline

We treat refresh cadence as an editorial decision, not a tech decision. Every refresh adds noise; we try to add refreshes only at the moments the innings actually changes shape.

FAQs

Is this live page ball-by-ball?

No. For ball-by-ball commentary with video, use the official broadcaster app. The page refreshes on significant innings events only — wicket, over-completion, innings break, milestone reached.

Where do the scores come from?

We use official league feeds and the broadcaster’s published scorecards. Where the two diverge, we cite the most recent public source and say so at the bottom of the table.

Does the page show streaming video?

No. The site does not host, embed, or link to any video stream. Live IPL coverage is on the official Indian broadcaster apps only.

Can I get push notifications?

The page does not push notifications. For notifications, set alerts on the official broadcaster app, which is linked from the App page on this site.

Why does the page sometimes go quiet for ten minutes?

Because nothing in the innings has changed. We do not invent updates to keep you scrolling.

Can I use this page for fantasy cricket?

You can — the scoreboard is refreshable within a couple of overs, which is fast enough for most fantasy scoring needs. For matches in the death overs, the broadcaster app will give you faster updates.
